Chapter Roadeos

CASTO Chapter 3 Roadeo

CHULA VISTA, CA – On Saturday, March 7, 2026, CASTO Chapter 3 kicked off the Roadeo season by hosting the state’s first School Bus Safety Roadeo of the year. Forty-six competitors were welcomed to an event filled with learning, camaraderie, and the opportunity to showcase their incredible talent. The competitors challenged themselves to improve and represented the very best of our industry. This Roadeo would not have been successful without the assistance of our judges and volunteers from surrounding districts who generously gave their time and expertise.

An extra special thank you to the Chapter 3 Board, along with Chapter 1’s Sam Anderson and State Roadeo Chairperson Jennifer Hanshew, Chapter 2 President Rosana Guerrero, and Chapter 20 President Doug Smith and Tina Young. Without their knowledge, experience, and support — both on the course and behind the scenes — this event would not have run as smoothly as it did. Chapter 3 would like to thank the Chula Vista Elementary School District for allowing us to host the Roadeo at their Transportation Department. We also thank RIDE, SchoolsFirst, and Model1 Commercial Vehicles for their generous support of this year’s Roadeo. Their donations helped ensure we could put on a spectacular event for all participants.
